On Friday, April 7th at 7:30pm we will have our next astronomy club meeting at the Community Center in Boxford. At this meeting we will have our regular club business meeting. Once that completes (approx 7:45PM) we will have our guest speaker.

This month's presentation will be on gravitational-wave astronomy and how it can help us learn about neutron stars and black holes, presented by Sylvia Biscoveanu, a PhD candidate at MIT working on gravitational-wave data analysis in the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) Laboratory.

You can learn more about Sylvia's astronomical research at http://web.mit.edu/sbisco/www/index.html
