Join us for our first meeting of the New Year!
Our guest speaker tonight is Mckenzie Ferrari. Mckenzie is a graduate student at the University of Chicago's Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics. She will be presenting on type 1a supernovae and Cepheid variable stars. It should be really interesting! Telescope observing to follow the meeting, if weather conditions allow.
