Observatory Status:

Observatory Status updated 1PM Weds Aug 15th, 2018.

  • Some forecasts for Wednesday night show it may be clear for a few hours, so we’re going to open and hope that the clouds stay away long enough to get some good views of the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars. We plan to open the door at 8PM

Please check back here for status updates.

Normally we are  open from 7:30 (or twilight whichever is later, early spring this is around 8PM, in May around 8:30PM) – 10PM every CLEAR Wednesday, weather permitting. The observatory is free and open to the general public.
