Observatory Status for Wednesday, August 26, 2015.
The observatory will be OPEN tonight, with clearing skies predicted. Join us for one of the last clear nights before school starts. We will look at Saturn, Andromeda galaxy, ring nebula and other highlites. A nice Iridum flare is predicted for 8:30. Doors will open at 7:30 with skies darkening after 8PM.
Normally we are open from dusk – 10PM every CLEAR Wednesday night year round, weather permitting. The observatory is free and open to the general public.

Conveniently located on Rt. 114 off of 495 in North Andover, you can’t miss the building with the observatory on the roof! Park at the south end of the building and proceed to the fourth floor where the observatory is located. Public Observing is held every clear Wednesday night This event is free and open to all ages.
