Minutes of the NSAAC Business Meeting August 2, 2019

President Deneen called the August Business Meeting of the NSAAC to order at 7:30 PM. There were 4 board members present and 9 club members. There was a quorum. Meeting was official. There were two visitors: David Millar and Paul Warclers.

The minutes of the June business meeting were approved by acclamation.

There are currently approximately 60 members in good standing.

Merrimack College:
The observatory will be open through this coming summer.

Salem University:
Dennis Gudzevich reported that Collins observatory is scheduled to open of the year on September 9th.

Star Party Committee:

Old Business:
President Deneen described the current situation with moving the club website which will be by Club Express. The new website should be up and running in about a month.

New Business:

Entertainment for the evening was a presentation by club member Bob Russo on building and running a remote imaging telescope.

Meeting adjourned 9:15 PM.
